There are two parks in McCool Junction. McCool Junction's downtown Bachaman Park covers 1/2 block and provides excellent recreation for children and adults alike. The park surrounds the historic town hall, which is used for a number of events throughout the year such as the annual Living Nativity.
McCool Junction's Historic DepotNorthside Park covers 12 acres and has two lit ballfields, a large state-of-the-art playground, camping area, rest room facilities, concession stand, tractor pull track, sand volleyball court and picnic shelters.
Playground Equipment at Northside ParkAnnual events include the Mustang Roundup in July which includes flower & art shows, train displays, live music, barbecues, parade, sand volleyball tournaments, fun run, bake off and a melodrama. The Living Nativity Pageant is a live production presented during the Christmas season and features live animals and characters dressed in authentic-looking costumes.
