Area Attractions & Recreation
There are two parks in McCool Junction. McCool Junction's downtown Bachaman Park covers 1/2 block and provides excellent recreation for children and adults alike. The park surrounds the historic town hall, which is used for a number of events throughout the year such as the annual Living Nativity.

Northside Park covers 12 acres and has two lit ballfields, a large state-of-the-art playground, camping area, rest room facilities, concession stand, tractor pull track, sand volleyball court and picnic shelters.

Annual events include the Mustang Roundup in July which includes flower & art shows, train displays, live music, barbecues, parade, sand volleyball tournaments, fun run, bake off and a melodrama. The Living Nativity Pageant is a live production presented during the Christmas season and features live animals and characters dressed in authentic-looking costumes.
